However, there are common and detected causes of abdominal pains and sore stomach. An excessive gas in the stomach can be one. If an immense amount of gas is trapped inside the stomach, there is a tendency to feel tummy aches. If there is indigestion of food, it can also lead to the striking pains. These conditions are especially seeking medical assistance.

Stomachaches may also come in different forms. It can be a sharp pain that feels like a stab or a knife-cut. It may also feel like a burning sensation or a tummy cramp. In some cases, there is a feeling of fullness in the abdomen. There may also be conditions such as nausea, appetite loss, and belching. For abdominal disorders such gastritis, there is a swelling or aching inside the lining of the stomach. For ulcers, acidity and other stomach pains, they have other forms of internal irritation that may appear to be constant pains. The pain may vary in degree though. It may be severe or mild, short or prolonged pangs, tolerable or intolerable.
